V is for Vanessa

Vanessa Tucker, a small town girl born and raised in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, is ready to venture a new life. After a tragic event occurs, she feels to move on she must do bigger things in life, like going to college. Although she wants to be the daughter her parents raised her to be, can she do it if she runs into contact with the tallest, hottest, and baddest boy on campus?

Matthew Hannon comes from San Fransisco, California. He's had a terrible past and wants to get away from the pain. When moving to Arizona for college football, he finds it hard to concentrate when all he wants to do is annoy the shortest, smartest, and shyest girl in town.

Together they're living complicated lives. They both have difficult pasts and want to set it behind them, but can they do it when their pasts are slowly uprooted word by word, memory by memory?

Though Vanessa doesn't want to allow their relationship to go anywhere but friendship, will she make an exception for Matthew? Will he save her from the nightmares she has at night. Will he change to be her knight in shining armor, or will he continue to be the bad boy he's known for?
