*WRITTEN WITH and ILLUSTRATED BY AERIN S. GREY* The one where poorly-written characters emerge from the pages of their own stories to confront their poorly writers. When Xander Portmanteau and Lyra Jones emerge from their stories with ideas of their own, their authors, Jen and Ryan, embark on a harrowing quest of revisions, rewrites, and (most importantly) self-discovery. When their paths cross, will it be love at first sight (as it often is in stories where men and women meet)? Or does fate have other plans? Why does Lyra, a strong female warrior from outer space, have nightmares? Why is Xander such a chauvinist? Does this book even have anything to do with cliches? Find out in CLICHE, a story which makes fun of practically everything in a predictably unpredictable fashion.

*Disclaimer: Characters belong to the wonderful Suzanne Collins.* (This is a Modern story) Valentine's Day is soon approaching at Panem High, and students are all anxious for the big day to arrive. Clove Sevina is not one of them. She's hated Valentine's Day since the very instant she found out about it. So the year when some kids in her grade decided to put together a yearly Valentine's Day dance, she was not pleased. Clove has been best friends with Cato Hadley since preschool, and the two have undoubtable chemistry. Cato and Clove usually are each other's dates for the annual dance, but this year, things change. Cato has his eyes set out for one of the most popular girls at Panem High, Glimmer. Desperate to get her to be his date to the dance, Cato asks Clove for her help. Not only does she not know the first thing about playing Match Maker, Clove is also head over heels, crazy in love, with Cato. Being Cato's friend, she reluctantly agrees to aid him, pushing her feelings to the side. The two teens, along with help from some other friends, get themselves knee deep in drama, heartbreak, and all other kinds of crazy. Cato begins to change, and Clove doesn't like it. At all. Will Glimmer fall for Cato? Will Clove admit to her affections for Cato? This is one crazy ride that everyone wants to get off. ❝Why does love have to be so complicated?❞ ❝I blame Cupid.❞ ❝Yeah, stupid Cupid.❞
