Everyone in Carvaea is born with a power. Invisibility, healing, shapeshifting  - there are infinite possibilities. For years the various powers fought among themselves for control of the country, until one power rose up to rule them all. 
Princess Penelope is an absorber, meaning she takes the power of anyone she touches.  Citizens offer their powers to the Queen when they turn 18 to prevent war from breaking out, and so the Queen can use them for the good and protection of the country. 
The problem is, not everyone is so willing to give up their power to the royal family. And when rebellion breaks out,  will Penelope choose her family, or her people?
