In the middle of their sixth year, Remus Lupin's memory is temporarily fragmented. The reason behind it, of course, is Sirius Black. After a spell malfunction, Sirius is having to watch over his friend to confirm he doesn't do anything stupid or rash while Remus's memory returns slowly.
Now having to witness Remus relearn some aspects of his life, Sirius starts to acknowledge some things he didn't know about his own. With family issues and new realizations, Suddenly having to watch Remus fumble over small things doesn't seem like a chore anymore to Sirius.
