Captain's Log

After the Aurora spacecraft was shot down by an unknown, presumably alien, weapon while exercising a usual slingshot maneuver around alien planet 4546b, you hurry to a life pod in an attempt to escape. You have a few nutrient bricks, a couple bottles of purified water, and 2 flares. A few things break, you are knocked out, and you wake up with fire licking your feet. You manage to put the fire out with the emergency extinguisher. You climb the ladder to the outside. Planet 4546b is a planet completely covered with water, spare a few islands. You have no idea what is in the water, but you are out of food and water. The readings for the water say that it has a large amount of unknown bacteria, but your life pod is damaged and you can not risk another fire. You ask yourself, would I rather die of dehydration on a planet full of water, or take a swim.

You dive in.
