Mak told Matthew. who responded with "I still don't get the big deal about it though?" Mak found it easy to reply to this with " I'm not surprised not a lot of people understand what it's like to say that when you were three your dad skipped out on you for drugs and, then eight years later the man who raised you from three was cheating on your mom, then have your mom become this machine that you cant talk to. I had to grow up over night and I just want to be a kid because I never got a chance to."
All Matthew did was pull Mak close putting his arms around her waist and said "Well then we might have to change that" as he lent his head down resting his forehead on Mak's.
