In life he was a shepherd, downtrodden by the aristocracy and the church. In unlife, he is a vampire of the Nosferatu clan, downtrodden due to his loathsome appearance.
But behind the face of a monster is man desperately trying to find his new place in Dark Ages England & Wales.
To Vampires, he is Ethan - a hunter, woodsman and one of the few vampires to brave the wilderness.
To Humans, he is the Old Man of the Woods. A forest spirit who offers gifts for deeds.
To a select few, the truth about him is known. He is neither simple huntsman, nor benevolent spirit. To the few, he is Mycroft. A man that will never be downtrodden again.
Disclaimer: This story is technically fanfiction as it is based on the RPG Vampire the Dark Ages. Posts will be frequent, but erratic as they are written in response to games I play in.

After an incident caused by his depression, a renounced worker in the adult entertainment industry, Romero Porcupine, decides that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself.
