Love, Life, and Loss

As Bekah Lauren Martin approaches age 18, her life begins to fall apart. Her father falls in love with a woman who hates her, she is torn between her boyfriend and two other guys, her friends stab her in the back, and even she begins to change. Things in Elsmera also seem to be changing, the weather is gloomy, never sunny, but it also never rains, and the animals of the forest are scarce even though it isn't time for them to be. Not only do bad things happen for Bekah, but she is also trusted with a huge responsibility, the survivial of an entire species.
