It was very early in the year nineteen-hundred and twelve that we made our journey from our new home in Baltimore, to Bristol, Great Britain. That particular January was quite a chilly one, I remember. It and the months that followed were definitely to be counted amongst the most exuberant times of my life.
Papa and I were planning on spending three or so months with some family friends of ours. The Magunnson family, they were. One of the Magunnson children was due to be married, come march. We had just gotten there on the 3rd, and the couple was due to arrive with the groom's family on the 5th.
