The one who was constantly left out – that was my usual role when it came to my siblings and me. And of course, being the youngest, I was constantly vying for attention, jumping through hypothetical hoops to impress the older kids. I had two older siblings – Kirsten, who’s three years older than me, and Justice, who’s a year older than me. We were close, as siblings go. But, even if we were close, there was always sibling rivalry. The final addition to our little group was Tyler Hall, my brother’s best friend, and our next-door neighbour. The four of us were the best of friends, and we all loved the same thing: music. Music is what held us together, what really cemented our friendship. It didn’t matter that Tyler wasn’t really related to us; he was like a brother to Kirsten, Justice, and me. What about me? My name is Angel Simmons. I’m a small-town, 16-year-old girl who had a passion, and I’m probably just like you. This is my story… And also the story of how one summer can change your life, forever. I tend to suck at these, but please just take a chance on my story... :P

"I just can't stand Ben anymore." She admitted truthfully, and maybe she would have kept this information to herself if she wasn't drunk. "All he does is drink and plays video games, we don't sleep together, he hasn't touched me in almost a year I'm 35 years old and I know my marriage is failing." She vented to her best friends. She'd been holding that in for months, she didn't want to continuously tell her friends how unhappy she was in her marriage, she just didn't want to be that friend. "He doesn't come to anything the kids are involved in, but you know who is there?" Isabella asked. "Ambrose." Monica answered noticing it herself, she made sure to make it to her god children's games and or dance competitions whenever she wasn't working. She noticed that Ambrose was at all the games and dance competitions cheering them on, he was always helping them practice, he was good with all 3 of Isabella's kids it was hard not to notice how they'd clung onto him. "Is it wrong that I still felt the same way I did in high school?" Isabella asked, she'd finally admitted it out loud and she knew for sure in that moment she was indeed still in love with him, and she fought this hard. "Izzy, you still love Ambrose?" Tory asked, shocked.
