Dark forces are changing the fate of the Galaxy. The Separatists are about to be split in two from the inside, the Jedi must deal with local planets turning against them, and Anakin Skywalker is coming closer to his destiny as the Chosen One. But when an old foe emerges, who's very presence threatens the stability of the Galaxy, both the Sith and Jedi must deal with this common enemy. But the criss-crossing strings of deception, plotting, and treason, are flowing in every direction as each side tries to play one against another. The only thing is that there seems to be one hand that controls the most strings, and that is the common enemy, also known as the pureblood Sith, Darkover. (Sequel to Emergence)
