A misjudged distance and timing on Keyleth the Druid's part leads to her breif but real death. Revivified by Vex'ahlia, she returns to life as the party begins to return to Whitestone. This is the story of Vax'ildan coming to grips with what happened and his discussion with Keyleth shortly after her accident.
Credit goes to the Critical Role cast and crew for the original characters and story arcs. This is a head cannon I thought up while watching the episode.
