Dalia Williams wakes up in an unknown town with no memories of her past and the previous days. Left with only a diary written in Latin, she decides to roam the town for anyone who might know her.
She--quite literally--bumps into timid, dark-haired Nero who doesn't know her, but knows the diary. Reading it, he tells her about the things it predicts: the "pieces"--of her memory, apparently--the "End"--what will happen if she doesn't get the "Pieces" together--and the "Lover": the boy who can weave all the Pieces together with one, honest kiss.
