Violet was different. She could move things without touching them and disappear. She was strange and her parents made sure she knew that. She finally gets a letter from a magic school in Scotland. Hogwarts. But is it really freedom, or just more torture?

Primrose had grown up in a family of Gryffindors. They always showed off their bravery but Primrose didn't want to be like that. But sometimes, it seems that one word can change everything. Especially if that word is said by the Sorting Hat.

Dahlia had everything you could ever want. Plenty of money, a loving family, a big house. She was even a witch. But all she really wanted was for her parents to see her for herself. Not some Ravenclaw who knows all the answers. It's amazing how something so small can mean so much.

Jasmine wasn't your typical Ravenclaw. She didn't get the highest marks and was always procrastinating. She kept to herself mostly, her quick wit repelling friendships. It certainly didn't help that the Marauders and Hogwarts bullied her about her hair.

Clover never wanted attention. She would have rather just blended in and have a few close friends. But when those friends aren't exactly popular and you happen to be Quiditch Captain, it's very hard to not stick out. Especially when a group of four take an interest in you and your friends.

Everyone knows the 4 houses. The wise The ambitious The loyal And the brave Everyone likes to think that they are brave. That they have what it takes. And for some it comes more naturally than others. And that's why they made a whole house about it. The bravery, the glory, and the fame. All resides in the Gryffindor house. What a dream it would be to be a Gryffindor. But Chance Gomez couldn't give less of a shit, and so couldn't his two friends. --- Chance Gomez is a Ravenclaw student, born and raised in the muggle world of America, who came to the UK in hopes of escaping the letters. To his parents surprise, this was nothing they could escape. In fact, the letters flooded into their new home the very next day. Throughout Chance's years at Hogwarts, he convinces himself that the sorting hat was indeed stupid. How could him of all people be sorted into Ravenclaw? Chance must fight to fend off evil from Hogwarts, along side him, his two best friends, Davey Dowell, the mischievous Hufflepuff. And Abaddon Sly, the loyal Slytherin. Together they prove that people aren't who they are just because of their houses, but who they are as a person. No house should decide the backlash and fate of a child, but the child themself. The trio may not be golden and red, but they are colorful. --- Cover art made by Sand0ra on Instagram! Thank you yet again for making another cover for me 🥹. This story exists in the Harry Potter universe, which I did not create but I'm sure that's obvious. My characters are my own. Will my characters maybe interact with canon characters? Who knows. I really don't, honestly. Content warning: Graphic description of gore (most likely) Probably torture. Trauma Diving into LGBTQ+ topics that may bring Homophobia and Transphobia This is Harry Potter after all. I'll put a warning for each chapter that has such. :) --- Posted to Wattpad: March 20th, 2023. Finished on Wattpad:

Going to Hogwarts is nothing like attending any other school. For one, you get to live most of the year in the grand and majestic castle. Second, you are sorted into different houses where you can garner relationships, some of which will become even truer than family. You may not be able to choose your family, but you get to choose your friends. Choose wisely and you may create a new family unlike what you could have ever imagined. Belladonna, a pureblood witch, is embarking on her first adventurous year at Hogwarts. Unlike most purebloods, she does not live and breathe 'blood purity'. Bell stands out from what is expected of her. She starts out as an impressionable, naiive young girl, but evolves into a stronger and more independent leader. With her growing friendships and the disillusionment of who her family truly is, Bell will begin her adventure to becoming the greatest witch of her age. The only question remaining: Will one witch be enough to make a difference in a secret world that's been tainted by corruption and prejudice? *** *Slow burn, but a bunch of fluff to make you smile!* *This is marked Mature: -sorry no smut, they aren't even teens yet! -there is violence and bullying. -Voldemort has some dark ideas and his followers choose to live by them. *this story begins their first year at Hogwarts. It's the first book of the series. *This story contains mild violence and fighting. As it progresses, there will be darker themes of hatred, abuse and segregation.

She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related. But, credit to J.K. Rowling. I mean- for everything other than my plots and characters too so.
