You cannot escape your fate.
Seemingly out of nowhere, tragedy strikes Sophie's life. Sophie's childhood friend, Charlie isn't ready to give up on her. A ghost appears and only after Soph and Charlie accept she's real, they are allowed to communicate through the silent ghost.
As Soph makes the mistake of trusting her peers and superiors, Charlie, having lost the ability to trust, has to deal with new and lost relationships. He only has the ghost, Soph's short messages, and his chemistry partner to get him through it all. When doubts start crossing Charlie's mind, everything is thrown out of the window.
Hope can be lost, and people are weak. Maybe it isn't Soph's fate to escape.
