The european powers, and specifically Britain, try to recover from a string of losses in Africa and Asia and start to form a policy for how to deal with the Communist revolution in the east, spurring movements abroad. It has become apparent that more countries will have to contribute. Like the American Colonies, who are feeling more alienated from their mother country, since they seem to not understand how business resolves itself in the americas. After Faust's escapade in St. Petersburg, he has learned that next he needs to get a sample from the Fountain of Youth. He is very determined to retrieve this grail in and of itself, if he can get out of Europe first.
