"So what's your power?"

"What they didn't tell you?" I smirk, might as well have fun with this "I make things disappear simply by pointing."

I look at my Index finger as if inspecting a gun. I see Static shift nervously in his seat, I mean box seat.

"I still can't figure out where they go when they disappear, want to help me find out" I look at Static with a sly smile as I slowly lower my finger and move it in his direction. And with a sudden move jerk my finger his way.

Static throws himself behind his box, not really hero like.

"Omfg! That was the funniest thing ever!" I laugh as I hold my stomach. Static stands up and tries to play it slick.

"You're a real b*tch you know that?" Static brushes his legs, dust floats up as he does. I guess this building is dusty. "Now, whats really your power."

She's Behind The Mask

43 parts Complete

The wind blows past my head, I close my eyes and take a deep breath of the cool air. Looking down I can see the city and all the lights that let me know I'm not alone in the world. I could get used to this I think to myself and I laugh. I laugh because I have powers. I laugh because of the clouds. I laugh because I have school tomorrow and I'm up at 1am. I laugh because I feel free. Kaylee is your typical teenager, does alright at school, loves basketball and has a small group of friends. But what happens when one morning she wakes up and is no longer 'typical'. Exploring her new-found abilities is all that's on her mind. When the city then gets a new hero, the kind that goes around saving people using unimaginable powers, she becomes the front page of every newspaper. But they would never expect that She's Behind The Mask...
