Mateo Le Roux, the son of the famous Red haired Shanks, and the bartender of Fuusha village, Makino. Occasionally getting visits from his Father, Mateo still was a happy boy, straight until he became the Village's sweetheart. He was practically raised by the whole village including his mother along with his friend, a rather fun boy who has a scar under his left eye, however the boy's grandfather has taken him away into the mountains, so one day the Mateo and his mother sneak up to the mountains with the mayor, thinking "What could possibly happen?"
