"Jasper lewis! You explain right now!!!" My mother screamed as she begun to take off her belt. She approached my bed as I burrowed myself into my bed sheets. She wore a barbarian look on her face as she removed the blanket that protected me right off. She started swinging at me with her leather belt, I cried in pain as she tore at my blue cotton shirt with her mighty nails. She had scratched my chest multiple times before walking out of the doorway putting her belt back on in case I did something again. Before she was even two feet out the door, she turned around with that expression of happiness on her face. "Next time, don't wake me up at 6:30 unless you want more pain. Do you understand?" she said with a voice as calm as the wind on a sunny summer day, I stuttered trying to make the words exit my mouth . "Y-Yes mother I-I understand" I mumbled with what little energy I had left inside of me. With that, she was gone.
