Alexis a mortal turns out be an ancients vampires mate I ran out into the night to reach Alexis's next office before she arrived with my driver. I watch as Malcom pulls up to the curb and she hops out making her way into the office. Malcom drives off and I take a perch on top of the building across from the office so I can keep and eye out for her. I watch as she puts in her airpods and starts dancing. I love to watch her sway and dance as she cleans it's kind of hypnotic. I freeze as a new scent hits the air. A male lurking down below in the streets. I can hear his thoughts. He is watching my Alexis and has bad things in his mind. I can smell his evil intentions. I noticed my love stop cleaning and is staring out the window. So she does have sixth sense it seams she isn't as oblivious as I thought. I wait for her to turn her back and continue cleaning before I sneak quietly behind the man watching my precious flower. Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...

Additionally, I started writing this book while I was fresh out of High School, I am now a junior in college. While the writing was not necessarily bad, it has improved greatly with the more recent chapters.
