A lost legend (Gravity Falls x reader)
Y/N comes to Gravity Falls after her parents aren't able to be there for the summer. Going to an old family friend's home to spend the summer she comes to realize not all is what it seems. There's a dark page on the journal Dipper shows her and not even Ford can explain what it is as it is. The constant feeling of being watched and feeling as if something major is going to happen. Unsure if it's a good change or not, Y/N tries to battle her way through it with her new friends. (It starts to get real from chapter 15, everything before is still important but a lot of you don't seem to have the patience to wait until things get more mentally challenging.) (COMPLETED but EDITING) After their summer in Gravity Falls, Dipper, and Mable return home. Time passes, and the twins change. They grow up. Mable becomes a free and outgoing teen and Dipper? Well, he isolated himself and everyone around him didn't seem to notice. And being alone with one's thoughts doesn't usually end well for anyone, so how will it end up for Dipper? Shortly after their 3rd year of high school ends, their parents think they need some time outside the city, and they send them back to Gravity Falls for the summer. After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs.
