When I was two my dad left my mom and I and two years after that my mom started dating this guy named Jerome. At first Jerome was nice, buying me and my mom nice things and taking us out to dinner. It was when I turned six that I learned he was beating my mom. I walked in on Jerome hitting him and made a deal with him. He can do whatever he wants to me as long as he leaves my mother alone.
