a/n this story focuses on the romance between Betty and Archie, so in this story Veronica has no part. In this story Betty has already told Archie that she likes him but, as someone who saw the episode (and every other one that followed) I thought he was kinda vague with answering, saying thing like 'of course I love you but, I can't give you the answer you want' So I played into that. I also played into the fact that Archie had a relationship with Miss Grundy. I hope you like it

He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold.
