This takes place after Bonnie killed Cade and destroyed hell everyone was then released back to the living world including an old friend of Kai's by the name of Skyler she got sent to the same prison world as Kai for killing almost an entire town because the death of her family. She's the one Kai spent all his time with before Bonnie and Damon came he eventually got out but forgot about her
Will Kai remember the only person who cared for him , Guess we'll have to wait and see
