When living in Mystic Fall for as long as Willa Carlson had, you would recognize everyone. Even the names. Which is why she was very intrigued to hear the name Salvatore, one of the founding families, had resurfaced to Mystic Falls.

Being very interested in history, Willa knew almost everything about the founding families and their past. Including the part where the there was no record of Stefan and Damon Salvatore in Mystic Falls after 1864, or any Salvatore for that matter.

Meeting the Salvatore brothers that were named after their ansestors was kind of a dream to Willa. But the deeper she got into the Salvatore's lives, the more dangerous it got, which lead to one confusing question.

Willa Carlson was nothing of the supernatural. She wasn't a vampire, not a werewolf, witch, heritic, hybrid, siren, doppëlganger, of any sorts. So how she was special to one Stefan Salvatore... she would never understand.
