"Some things should only be spoken in the afternoon, when beings of a more sinister nature are still kept at bay by the sunlight."

Twelve year old Violet loved her Grandmother's stories. One in particular was her favorite of all. It seemed to slightly change with each telling, becoming more magical and intriguing, yet still staying familiar. It was never used as a bed time story for Grandmother would not tell it after dark, until one autumn evening.
Violet never expected that Grandmother's age old tale could hold truth... and danger.

Bleeding Shadows

36 parts Complete

It's been three hundred years since the emergence of a vampire virus. A virus which only affected unborn male babies. The world has come to accept that vampires are not super human monsters who crave human blood. They're more human like than monster. Only needing a little human blood occasionally. However, their bites possess an amazing healing ability. Not a bad trade off. Fast forward to current day and for the first time in history attacks on innocent people by vampires are starting to occur. After suffering one of these attacks, can Violet Charr find her place in her suddenly changing world or will she be pulled under by the darkness that has always slept below the surface of this seemingly perfect society?
