Elizabeth was the top of her year when she joined the guard academy and got in the jury of 9 waiting list. She loved to protect her village they treated her like family and took care of her when no one else would. She'd protect them with her life if she had too. She became head guard three years ago however with her village was attacked. Elizabeth was kidnaped in the process with no village to even return too all because she was related to someone whom she didn't even know.

Elizabeth has to endure suffering heart ache. She thought no one would understand how she felt. But a familiar face of a shadow knight could show her how to live with it and even grow himself. 

Will she fall in love or continue to be distant from others out of fear of them being hurt. 

Will she learn how to be as strong as she once was or crumble in her own guilt.
