John Sheppard is missing. Three months ago, on an off-world mission gone horribly wrong, John was taken hostage by an unknown enemy for equally unknown reasons. But as the rest of the team back on Earth are calling an end to the search, the small team of explorers at Atlantis are only more determined to find their long lost commander. But as the team uncovers more shocking and worrisome clues as to who took Sheppard and why, they begin to wonder, even if they do find find him, will he be the same Sheppard that left?

The Blindness
Lieutenant, Kayna Neric, is on her first assignment at Atlantis. Her skills in combat landed her a position, guarding Todd the wraith, during a routine transport mission, to a remote outpost. The puddle jumper was attacked by a unknown source, and they are forced to land on a uncharted planet. Only two survive the landing, one Wraith and one Human. Just as the two survivors find comfort in one another, rescue comes and they are separated. The story will (so far) follow Kayna's journey, as she finds a strange acceptance, among Wraith. Is she strong enough to do what no human has ever done before?
