I Only Told the Moon

"I never knew you felt this way about me Grayson."
"I know."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"I only ever told the moon."

Grayson and Camila met in the fourth grade during lunch. They hit it off immediately becoming best friends, inseparable. The feelings were inevitable but the feelings being one sided that was the surprise.
Grayson fell in love with Camila in 7th grade for a reason unbenounced to him. His feelings grew and grew until the point they burst forth. He needed to release them so every night he'd climb out onto his rough looking over at Camila's and profess his love to the moon. He only ever told the moon and eventually it begins to feel as though the moon is the only one who would care.
