Kat is a normal girl on the outside who has always been a loner. As she goes deeper and deeper into her mind a world is exposed that she believes everyone has. It's a world created by herself, she often finds herself trapped there, trapped in her thoughts. What happens when people start to realize that this world she created is a dangerous place?

But she was not simple, so she was unable to see anything worth while about herself. This girl was beaten down by the cruelties of this world, but then she meets him, her prince charming. But can even he convince her of her true beauty? Or will she ruin any good that comes into both his and her lives forever? ----- This is a story about a girl named Jane who is forced to be someone she is not. I wrote this story because I feel like we all have to conform to be how society wants us to be, when that's not who we really are, sometime in our lives. But we all have an escape. Sometimes it's through music, reading, friends, or whatever. Jane's escape comes through a boy named Mystery who helps her grow and flourish who she really is. Please read, it means so much to me because writing and helping others is my personal escape! I love you all so much! It's almost completed! There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally.
