The Games We Play is a revamp book of my past book, Seven Minutes in Heaven. Lawson "Law" Cort has two things he never lets go of-his journal and his tight-knit group of friends. Life in high school is all about balance: navigating track meets, dodging drama, and occasionally saving his best friend Trey from ridiculous situations. But when Layla, the girl from his past, suddenly walks back into his life, everything changes. What was supposed to be just another school year turns into a whirlwind of late-night confessions, reckless choices, and a game night that spirals into something much deeper than anyone expected. In a world where love is complicated and secrets run deep, how far will Law go to hold onto the people who mean the most? Perfect for fans of coming-of-age drama, friendships that feel real, and the kind of romance that sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

This book was started in 2021, finished in 2022 and republished in 2023 ------------------------- A 16 year old girl by the name of Rayla Loris attends school for the first time. She makes some friends including this one guy by the name of Liam Rayn. Liam is a very flirty guy and most likely a man whore. As for Rayla, she isn't into all of that which only makes Liam flirt and tease with her more because she's the only one who doesn't want him other than their friend Avery. One thing they both have in common is that they don't believe in love. The real question is, would they be able to change that?
