"I don't want to end up like my mother," If you asked everyone in Riverdale to describe Briar Blossom, you'd get a fairly generic response. Beautiful, rich, lucky. No one thought that anyone so blessed could have anything wrong with them, so it was a surprise to everyone when she was shipped off to Scotland in freshman year to what most people assumed was a boarding school. When Briar returns the summer before sophomore year she thinks she's prepared for the year ahead. But that was before the devastating murder of her brother. Now she has to continuously convince her parents that she's stable, catch up on her coursework and investigate her brother's death, all while hiding the real reason she was away for a year from two nosy writers who she can't seem to force out of her thoughts.
