There's not a lot that can freak me out in this world. Only large animals with sharp claws, too many people touching me, bullies, hives, horror movies, sitting underneath fans or lights or anything that dangles from a ceiling, glass or wooden bridges, my mother, mosquitoes, public situations, taking a shower with nobody in the house, taking a shower with too many people in the house and crocks. Oh, and zombies. Zombies is definitely on that list. It's almost a shame too, that I have to race through a city packed full of them to find my missing family. Packed full of zombies, by the way, not crocks. (Although I don't know which situation is worse.) Now I have to not only keep my feeble body alive, but also protect (or be protected by) my two best friends in the entire world as we all try to survive in a city packed with the Dead.

They all team up and have to live together in order to survive, with only each other and few family left. They have food to last them months, and the house is fully boarded down, but that doesn't stop these killer zombies from taking away everything from them. Over this tragic year they lose friends, their shelter, family, hope, but they also find new acquaintances along the way... as well as the cure. Will they be able to stop this whole catastrophe? Or will they lose their lives trying too? Just because there's zombies... doesn't mean there's even bigger threats out there...

A Cure goes horribly wrong, creating a zombie virus which quickly spreads across Australia. It reaches to a large friendship group and forces it to momentarily split into three. On this journey all they can rely on is, luck, skill and trust.... which most of them lack. They will have to test their extents of their friendship and when they meet and join once again, their final aim evolves from just 'surviving', to finding a cure. But in the end they're still just a group of immature teenagers with a fitting immature sense of humor. This is quite a light hearted story with a few dark moments.

They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?
