By happenstance, Delta meets a human named Julius, a geologist studying the strange land inhabited by the H'vuribups. With Julius and her H'vuribup friends Chi and Glekro, Delta discovers a dark history surrounding the H'vuribups and a plot to repeat that very history. She may not belong with humans or H'vuribups, but she will have to find her own place while saving both races.
