It was a life void of color.

Science can explain color. The pigments that are reflected after being rejected from absorption so that our eyes can interpret the dancing waves with the cones in our eyes. People believe black and white to be colors, but science can explain them as the absence of color and the presence of color respectively.

I seemed to be colorblind - I was living in black.

Throughout the centuries and evolution of mankind, there have been many theologies about life, death, and things supernatural. Who is to say which belief system will turn out to be the truth, or if any culture has been able to discern it. There is no physical proof for the purely metaphysical. Not all mysteries may be explained. One of the ideals that has continued to be held for generations upon generations is that the soul is immortal, and though some believe that means the soul has a higher home, others believe that means the soul lives again and again as flesh and blood. This is one of those stories. This is the story of one soul that was cleaved into two: twin-flames, and their journeys.
