The Addendum Tablet was made to supplement life and all human needs. Life was sufficient and there was order. But little did they know that it was created with a "defect" that could change everything. Wars and uprising were brought on by the unfair distribution of the Addendum Tablet. Only the higher classes were allowed this privilege. But eventually the Society won, and to make sure there would never be the chance of losing ever again, they wiped everyone's memory of the wars and hostility. Now living the life the Society has made for her, Aidlyn tries to follow them and live in order. Only is it really living when you've never been given a choice? As she begins experiencing hallucinations she can't explain, she starts to wonder- are these just hallucinations... or are these flashbacks? As she struggles to understand what's going on with her she meets Tye, a boy that knows more than he's letting on. If she wants to find out what's happening to her, she will have to learn to trust him, but should she? Doing this could put her in danger, for the Society will not let her live if she knew.

Ever thought surviving first period-and facing her best friend's boyfriend, whom she recently kissed-would be the hardest part of her day. She was wrong. The world is ending. Literally. Between dodging awkward hallway interactions with her best friend's boyfriend and dodging the apocalypse, Ever discovers she may be the one person capable of saving mankind. No pressure, right? But just when she's barely wrapping her head around her destiny, a mysterious (and annoyingly handsome) stranger shows up. He drives her crazy, yet somehow feels...familiar. And he just might hold the key to unlocking Ever's forgotten past and to stopping the strange, earth-shattering events unraveling the future. As secrets unfold and loyalties are tested, Ever has to make a choice: walk away from the chaos and pretend the world isn't ending or embrace her destiny and risk everything to save it. After all, being a teenager is hard. Being the savior of humanity? That's a whole new level. *This is book one in a series
