Maiya is stuck between her past and present, unsure of which guy to pick - the ex that left her behind over a year ago, but now has suddenly come back to rekindle their relationship, or the new guy that she's been hopelessly been in love with for over a year but is afraid of expressing her feelings to. Maiya's life has become a routine now. She spends every day talking to the present and then spends her weekends reluctantly meeting up with past to have the same old conversations where he tries to get back together with her and she consistently shuts him down. Afterwards, she goes to cool off and contemplate life in the abandoned ruins nearby that is now under heavy construction. Though the future seems to be way off in the distance, and she has enough problems to deal with, Maiya starts to let Darian, a young construction worker her age, who lets her sneak up onto the roof of the new building he's helping construct under the pretense of taking some pictures for her blog, into her life. And though he doesn't admit it to her, he knows what Maiya really comes up there to do and he makes it his mission to keep her from accomplishing that, no matter what it takes. The only question is: will Darian be able to make Maiya learn from the past, live in the present and start believing in the future again? All Rights Reserved
