In 2070, American is no longer what it used to be. With only fifteen states on the east coast, it is crowded and overpopulated. On the rise is a new species called Genes and with humans scared of what they don't understand, Genes are locked away and tortured their whole lives. Until one day a group escapes from a Gene institution and flees to the west, where a dangerous wasteland and deadly people lie between them and the new world.
