A vibrant short story about an adventurer, in pursuit of something incredibly rare, who has reached the most magical yet dangerous place on earth to find it: a place where the trees are as big as skyscrapers, where the animals are of the strangest colors, where few have managed to reach and fewer have escaped.
A/N: This is a short story I wrote for an english class and my favorite piece that I have written thus far. I have entered it into the wattys (please vote!) and I'm also considering making a full novel, possibly series, based off of this short story.
Feel free to point out any and all grammar mistakes and weird wording.

The Fire Nation has been in a period of peace for years. Benevolent leaders have risen, rulers who care more about the people than their own interests, and the country has managed to become the most stable nation in only a short amount of time.
