The Sea Of Odessa

In the small kingdom of Malarda the biggest excitement of ones life is the day they receive their assigned jobs. When a seventeen year old boy named Jacob, only weeks away from being assigned a job, fishes a girl of about the same age out of the sea the entire kingdom seems to go into a craze. Legends of a golden haired girl from the ocean that have been told for years tell of her beauty attracting a war from the sea to land. When she is hauled up onto a boat after becoming caught in a fishing net, a sixteen year old girl at first can remember nothing but her name and age. After a terrible nightmare brings everything rushing back to her, Odessa hopes she can hide in the small kingdom of Malarda until things clear up where she came from. But as legends from the locals begin to come true she can only fear that the war from the sea is coming to land. Told in the point of views of both Jacob and Odessa as there lives become in twined as they both find themselves in the middle of a war neither of them want or understand. Mermaids, sea monsters, and rivalries that rage on. Who exactly is this beautiful girl from the sea?
