The Forbidden Love of a Jedi

He brought his lips to mine and I closed my eyes to return his warm, soft kiss. He lifted my legs off the ground and I wrapped them around his waist as he walked toward the door to my room. He shut the door behind us and walked us toward the bed as his shirt was thrown to the side, revealing his chiseled chest. My hands rested behind his neck as he dropped us onto the bed. His hands trailed down my back and started to pull up my shirt. But as he started to kiss behind my ear and along my jawline, the part of my mind I tried to ignore earlier came to the surface. I place my hands on his chest.
"Kit, we can't do this," I said pushing him off of me as I sat up.
"Joy...." he said sitting up with me.
"Kit you said yesterday that if this continued..." I trailed off not wanting to repeat his words "... I just can't risk losing you."
I tried to stand up but he wrapped an arm around my waist. I shivered at the feeling of his fingers on my bare skin as he pulled me back onto the bed. He pulled me into a warm embrace and kissed me deeply. I had no choice but to let myself melt into his arms.
"Forget what I said," he said resting his forehead against mine.
"But the Order, what if-" I tried to reply, out of breath.
"Joy, I don't care about the Order... I only care about you," he said as he interlocked his fingers with mine.
He pushed my hands back onto the bed next to my head and trailed kisses down my neck to my collarbone. I knew he wanted this, and I did too. But he was right, if our secret was discovered, then the Order would not be merciful.
