Every year, the village would host a race. A race for the young men to compete in, to show their strength and abilities to the people. As the years went on, the race started to become dangerous. The boys started to disappear, never returning from the forest. The Forest Race was put to an end after 30 years of the competition, but not for long. The town was attacked, and no one entered or exited alive in the whole year it was canceled. A note was found, written in an unknown ink, on the town noticeboard. 'Continue Forest Race, or your town will die. Send a girl with men, and we will give mercy.' The Forest Race would continue. ~~~ It's been ten years since the note was found, and Robin Jane Marshall is determined not to let those creatures take her. Forced to dress as a man and participate in this year's Forest Race by her family, she is willing to do whatever it takes to discover the creatures tormenting her beloved village, and prove to herself that she is capable of anything.
