Dallon's parents found love, now it's his turn. In fact, they're so invested in his happiness that the only way they can think of him to find love, is if they find it for him. He finds himself caught in a not-so-happy marriage and, despite his romantic nature, gives up entirely on love. Brendon refuses to.

"Hey, Dallon, I- uh, d'ya want to come out of the cold and, uh, hang out?"
Dallon took one look at his uncomfortable face and laughed, a full, loud, joyful laugh, "Did you honest to God just ask me to 'uh, hang out'? You fucking dork." He shook his head fondly and stood up. "Yeah, I'll come 'hang out' with you, dear."
It was Brendon's turn to laugh as he stepped through the door and slid it shut behind him, "Did you just call me dear?"
"That is quite possible. What would you prefer? Darling? Sugartits? Daddy?"
