Lightning crackled in my eyes and jumped around my fists. ❝Zeus is fallen. I am Hercules. I stand in his place.❞

The giantess snorted, leering down at me, yellow teeth like bricks. ❝Another dead hero.❞

❝Yes. But not today.❞

                                                                     *                  *                *
Hercules has fucking had it.

Olympus' hero has just been double-crossed by his stepmother, Hera, and now Herc's future throne is promised to his dastardly half-brother. Fed up with the family drama, Herc goes on a permanent vacay to the human realm. In the land of Twitter and cheeseburgers, he doesn't have to worry about three-headed dogs or the constant threat of the Underworld-where Hera is determined to send him.

Herc has finally found something on Earth he never had in Mount Olympus. Something better than lightning, ambrosia, and sex with nymphs combined. Meagan is the only girl who's ever brought Herc to his knees-and he'll be damned if he lets her go.

Literally.

Maleficent, the fiercely independent and proud daughter of a strict mother, is determined to forge her own path, staying far from the expectations that surround her. Hades, the enigmatic and confident heir to the Underworld, is equally determined to prove that he's more than just the shadows he commands. When they're forced to partner up for an important showcase, sparks fly-both the kind that ignite battles and the kind that ignite something far more dangerous. As they struggle to outmaneuver each other in a dance of power, ambition, and passion, they find themselves drawn together in ways neither of them expected. But with a past that holds more than a few dark secrets and a future that could tear them apart, Maleficent and Hades must decide if they'll let their fierce pride keep them at odds, or if they'll risk everything to see what could happen if they allow themselves to fall. In a story filled with sharp wit, simmering tension, and the delicate balance between love and hate, this tale of enemies-to-lovers will leave you spellbound. But in a world where power is the ultimate currency, can they trust each other enough to embrace the sparks between them, or will their rivalry burn everything to the ground? (A/N : updates might be slow and sometimes i use ChatGPT to help me write, mostly to describe something, and writing is just something fun I like to do to let my ideas flow so I don't really take it seriously but it's something fun!)

"You can have anything you want," He plucked the ripest for me from the tree. "Everything in my world is yours." With all of my mother's warnings, I had been afraid to eat from his table or drink his wine. These were binding things, and I would starve myself thin before Hades and I were tied together by communion. But in the light of this garden, it didn't seem as dangerous as it had in the dark. "I feel your wanting," he murmured and pressed half a pomegranate into my palm. Being in Hades's underworld for so long threatened to consume me. "Please. I shouldn't," I whispered. "Shouldn't," he repeated. "Why, Persephone? Because it is against the rule of the gods?" "No," I breathed. "If I cross this line, I don't know what will become of me." "Let me show you." ................................ 🥈#2 in retellings 🏅#4 in Olympus 🏅#11 in Persephone
