Book One of the Pirate's Heart trilogy

Piracy is on the rise and Scarlett, a baker's daughter, lives along the English coastline where stories of pillaging and swordfights spread like wildfire. Despite knowing they come with very real dangers, Scarlett can't help but be fascinated by them.
