SEASON of DESTRUCTION - my hunt for a comic-book artist
I'm looking for an artist to join me as a creative partner in developing this limited-series comic, "Season Of Destruction". I've drawn the first issue myself - you'll quickly see I'm not a professional artist by any stretch, but I wanted to have a promotional draft to show a prospective partner - something more dynamic than a black-and-white script. Think of this as a very creepy mood board dipped in blood. My reinvention of the vampire genre isn't a fun or tongue-in-cheek treatment - the principal figures in my story are murderers. They behave as such, and that menas this is a disturbing story. It's hard to find someone who can stomach my portrayal of a cult that worships Death. Due to mature content (95 percent horror, 5 percent nudity) not all panels meet Wattpad content guidelines. You can see the comic here: www.seasonofdestruction.com What follows in this publication is a synopsis and story notes. Sketches and other materials will be added. If you're an artist who has read this entire thing, seen the comic, and you're interested in helping me get wheels under this project (pencil draft, then a Kickstarter campaign) DM me. Note: I conceived this story in 2000, and drafted the first issue as a comic in 2011. At that time I thought my pre-apocalyptic setting of global turmoil, global warming and wildfires, disease and famine, were a long way off, and I wasn't sure where exactly in time to set my story. It's a bit terrifying to see the world I imagined for this story in 2000 is right outside my window in 2021.Complete

My Alpha Mate (Completed)
Best ratings: #1 in #ya, #sexscenes and #mates, #4 in #romance - - - - - PLOT: LILA KING is somewhat notorious in her old wolfpack - as a child she led a rebel crew of delinquents who caused havoc in the reserve and fought vampires. She was one of the best fighters in the pack, but following her best friend's death at 18 she left the pack to live with humans. For her 25th birthday, she finally returns, but only to introduce her werewolf family to a human fiance. What no one expects, though, is that at the party her family throws...she will encounter her destined mate. He is no other than DARIUS CARTER - the new alpha of the biggest wolf-pack in the region, holding a bad rep for killing the former alpha to assume his righteous position. But there is much more to him than just a pretty face and a fabulous six-pack... Can Lila fight destiny? Does she even want to? And why are those vampires starting to appear again with her return? ---EXCERPT: I hear people saying my name through the muffled sounds of my heartbeat banging in my ears. Then suddenly everyone in the room disappears and there are no voices. The only sound is that of his footsteps and the only scent is the most beautiful, sensual, masculine smell I have ever felt. Darius approaches me slowly at two feet away but doesn't stop. As everything seems slow-motioned, I try to step back to avoid a collision, but my feet won't listen. Instead, I take a step forward and we meet at only an inch apart. He looks at me so intensely, so passionately, that I feel devoured. Then he speaks. "Hello, mate." ____________ previous name: *ALPHA CARTER*Complete

(THIS BOOK IS DISCONTINUED, I AM NO LONGER WRITING THIS BOOK.) (PLEASE STOP READING THIS FANFIC ITS HORRIBLE I HATE IT-) (Original art for cover made by; Me! I drew that cover- Then edited it with Wattpad Covers!) It started long ago, when a plague doctor had found a mask. The mask was sentient, it was able to feel, and talk. The mask convinced the doctor to keep it, to put it on. They became partners. They learned more and more about each other. But then, a horrible thing happened. They spilt. Many years past before they saw each other again. A single breach that caused a wave of feelings back in. Love. Her parents were open in revealing her destiny of being born into a long line of vampire hunters. Except she doesn't follow all of the Hunter traditions as she wants to pave her own way. Finally, when she is of age to go on assignments alone, she takes her first big assignment. It has the ability to change every aspect of her life and even makes her question her beliefs: one of which being that love does not exist. Not only does this assignment make her re-evaluate everything she's ever known, the vampires her family has taught her to avoid at all costs somehow manage to become her biggest threat. Their only two purposes are to find the right time to strike and kill the very thing that threatens their way of life: her. All the while battling real-life demons... she struggles with her own.Complete
