Will Treaty, a fully fledged ranger has just married Alyss the Courier. As newly weds they can't wait to start their new life together, but life ahead of them is not going to be such an easy task. Redmont is thrown into battle and the need to keep King Duncan safe is Will, Halt, Horace, and a few others biggest priority. But keeping the king safe is difficult, and as the country fights this battle, Alyss has her on personal battle added in. Will she tell Will this secret? Will Araluen be save?
