Few months after defeating the Nogitsune, Scott and his pack are trying to live like a normal teenagers on their 9th grade. Things in Beacon Hills are quite too 'normal'. No supernatural attacks, no dark spirits, typically just plain days. Scott didn't struggle to move on on Allison as he developes a relationship with Kira. Lydia accepts the loss of Aiden and his twin.
On a while, Stiles didn't get into some hallucinations, his temporary dyslexia was gone for long, as he manage to get his failing grades back to its steady state. But the 'too normal' state of Beacon Hills started to bother Stiles. He often thinks of something's bad going to happen. Until...

Even though the Nogitsune is gone Stiles hasn't gotten better, the nightmares have only gotten worse, but the nightmares have changed to flashbacks of everything he did when the Nogitsune took over and even when they were separated like with Allison and Aiden, as if he saw the whole thing like it was like he was seeing through the Nogitsune's eyes seeing it all unfold. Resulting in Stiles not sleeping and he can't help but wonder. . . . .what if the Nogitsune. . . . . . NEVER LEFT!!!!
