Sometimes it's easier to ignore the scars than ask how they got there. And sometimes it's best not to tell at all. For Melanie Brier, she couldn't agree more. Hidden beneath her sleeves were lines upon lines of scars, each laced with stories from her past. Stories of her and her father having dinner back on her Earth or Oliver Queen pushing her in a wheelchair in Star City or movie nights with Team Flash in STAR labs. And as much as she'd like to forget the moments of her past that clung to her, the scars remained.
That was, until, Rip Hunter quite literally threw her into a life of time travel, immortal dictators, pirates, and more adventure than she had experienced in years. On board the Waverider and surrounded by Legends she had no choice but to look the pains of her past in the eyes and decide who was in control: them or her?
