November "Nova" Morse seems to have the perfect life: she's found her other half, is living in his penthouse suite and is on her way to becoming a successful doctor, as well as being gifted with the power of empathy. So what's missing? Her memories, for one.

In a bid to be independent, Nova works in a hotel, where she meets Ray Benedict: fun, outgoing and sweet, everything her boyfriend isn't. Ray believes there's something more to Nova, something hidden deep within, but she doesn't want him interfering with her life. So what will Nova do when her perfect facade begins to crumble?

This story is a continuation of Joss Stirling's savant series, but it can still be read standalone.
